Being a “Parent Rep” is a great way to take an active role in shaping the school experience for all kids at Howard.
Parent/Caregiver Representatives are volunteers who represent the parent community when voting at our School Council meetings. Anyone can attend meetings and contribute, but only Parent Representatives can vote. We vote when deciding how to spend School Council funds, when agreeing on Council communications to the school administration, school board, and education ministry, and when changing how our group operates.
A Parent Representative is expected to attend all Council meetings (in person or online) and to represent the school community’s interests. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month of the school year.
Nominate yourself or someone else using this form by Tuesday, October 3.
