This event is shaping up to be a good time. As evidence, here is a recent email dialog among a couple of the parent organizers:
Parent 1: is it a dance party? i have pete morey (howard dad also cbc dj) joining me and we’re trying to build the right playlist. fyi – we’ll be djing it properly so we can make this a serious jam if that’s the intent.
Parent 2: I’d be ready for anything! Last pub night we threw turned into a dance party…
Parent 1: oh we’re gonna dance then.
I’m personally excited by the subtle understatement of that all-lower-case last line.
