It’s almost time for our annual school potluck picnic – with pizza – which happens tomorrow, June 20, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
LOCATION: Food will be set out in the gym, and all are welcome to eat outside!
NO RAIN DATE: If it rains, we will eat in the gym.
All families are welcome but please remember children need to have an adult accompanying them.
Reminder: If you haven’t yet volunteered or RSVP-ed, please go here https://tinyurl.com/pizzapotluck2019 to do so! It’s a 30-second/2-page form and we appreciate both the info and the support.
Reminder: What to Bring!
– Please bring a dish to share that is large enough to serve those coming in your party. We welcome everything: main, salad, dessert… Also a picnic blanket if your party so desires.
– NO PEANUTS OR TREE NUTS in your dishes: please remember that Howard is a nut-free school due to a significant number of students with life-threatening allergies to peanuts and tree nuts.
– We Are Going Garbage-Free! As Howard is a Platinum Eco-School, it’s important that we are conscious of how much waste we create. In the past, this event has generated a lot of waste. So bring a few plates, some cutlery, and a water bottle or two so you can enjoy the fabulous food while caring for our planet. Please bring your own plates, cutlery, water bottles, napkins etc. as we will not be supplying any this year.
See you tomorrow evening!!
Your Community Picnic Team,
Liz Phillips and Liz Pounsett
