Hello Howard Families,
We are getting excited about our Howard Family STEM night happening on Thursday May 2nd from 6-8pm in the school gym.
As part of our STEM night this year, we are inviting community partners to the school to showcase STEM-related programs available in our neighbourhood.
Did you know that the High Park branch of the Toronto Public library (located on Roncesvalles) offers many innovative STEM programs? Representatives from the library will be at Howard’s STEM night to showcase everything they have to offer: programs for all ages, most of which are drop-in but some require registration. They even have a new Mini Makers drop-in program starting April 14th. It runs every Sunday from 2:30-3:30pm for ages 4-8. Check it out, Howard!
For descriptions of the programs and a schedule of the library’s STEM events for April, please see the attached PDF.
Sincerely,
Your STEM Committee
