New STEM Stuff to Borrow: BOOST Robots and Makey-Makeys

The Howard STEM Committee has just purchased *4* new fun things for our community lending library.  To sign up to play with these at home for up to 2 weeks, please follow the link at the bottom of the email.

**But first!!**  Find out more about these fun activities:

Turn everyday objects into touchpads and combine them with the internet. It’s a simple invention kit for beginners and experts doing art, engineering, and everything in between.

Take a look at the following (hilarious) video for some examples of what you can do with a kit – and then dive into the MakeyMakey website for all kinds of creative ideas for turning your world into an interactive interface!

Similar to the Lego WeDo kits, Lego BOOST allows you to build figures using Lego and program them using the Lego BOOST app (must be installed on a tablet or mobile device).

For a look at what these can do, check out the following video:

Are you ready to sign something out?

Please fill out this form for your chance to take one or both home for up to 2 weeks.
