New STEM Stuff to Borrow: BOOST Robots and Makey-Makeys

MakeyMakeys

Turn everyday objects into touchpads and combine them with the internet. It’s a simple invention kit for beginners and experts doing art, engineering, and everything in between.

Take a look at the following (hilarious) video for some examples of what you can do with a kit – and then dive into the MakeyMakey website for all kinds of creative ideas for turning your world into an interactive interface!

Lego BOOSTs

Similar to the Lego WeDo kits, Lego BOOST allows you to build figures using Lego and program them using the Lego BOOST app (must be installed on a tablet or mobile device).
