Warning!! QSP trinkets might be coming back!!

For several years parents have complained about the QSP fundraising and related trinkets and stress.  In response, we started the Direct Ask campaign this year.  But families are not putting their money where their mouth is.  We have raised $5,750 which is less than half of the amount we raised last year with QSP.  And that is with 100% of Direct Ask funds going to Howard, versus 32% of funds raised through QSP.  This means that the Howard community was spending more than $30,000 in past years on QSP products, most of which were destined for the landfill.

We need the Howard community to spend only a fraction of the funds spent on QSP in past years to reach our goal of $15,000.  Please make a donation of $50 per child if you can, and donate extra to cover those families who are not in a position to give, if you can.  If we do not meet our goal, our kids will miss out on their usual programming and we will have to bring back QSP.

Please make your donation before Tuesday, December 3, which will be Bring a Stuffy Day for the kids, to celebrate our community coming together to meet this goal!

Thank you!!
