Graduation Info for Howard Grade 5 and 6 Parents

We are still looking for a few more Grade 5 Parent Volunteers to help with Food Prep and Service – 3:30 – 7:00pm on June 26.Here is the volunteer sign up – Grade 6 Grad Party Sign Up. If you have a free hour or two your help would be greatly appreciated.

Decorators and Decorations Needed

If you can help setting up the gym after school on Monday June 25^th please join us at 3:30pm.

We are still looking for white strings of Christmas lights(preferably large bulbs, but we’ll take what you have) to lend or donate. As well, we are looking for flameless tea lights, if anyone has these to lend or give. There is a box in the office labelled ‘Gr. 6 Grad lights’. Please drop off your lights to this box as soon as possible before June 21st. If you would like your lights back after the dance, please attach a label to the string with your child’s name and area number and we will happily return them to you.

The Program for the Evening of June 26th:

We look forward to sharing an evening of memories based on the following:

Gymnasium doors open to all guests. It will be a full house and all guest seats are first come first serve.

Graduates must be in their reserved seats

Ceremony begins
Yearbooks will be handed out during the formal ceremony. Parents may want to bring a pen to give their child to get signatures from teachers, and friends – once the mingle portion of the evening begins.
A photographer will be taking pictures of each graduate on stage, so parents can enjoy the moment.

Family Mingle – Light Refreshments (veggie and gluten free snacks too)
Photobooth for graduates and guests – Grads and families can pop over to photo booth (all photos will be available online – link to be forwarded)

Music and Dance begins for Howard Grade Six Graduates only!
Pizza and Cake will be served to the Grads.
NEW – The Local at 396 Roncesvalles are happy to welcome families to socialize while the grads dance the night away. We can head there after the mingle.

Dance ends. Please pick up your new grads!
