Dear Families,
The last day for Marlies ticket sales is Friday, October 13 (one week Friday). The tickets continue to be available for purchase online at School Cash Online. There was a problem with the system in the beginning but it is now working.
Here is the information about the event:
The Howard Choirs will be singing “O Canada” at the Marlies hockey game at Ricoh Coliseum at 45 Manitoba Drive in Toronto on Saturday, October 28th. Although the game is at 4:00 p.m., sound check is at 2:30 p.m. so please arrive at 2:15 p.m. to be ready for the sound check if you have children singing in the choirs. Please meet at the Group Experiences Check-In Gate (North Entrance) at 2:15pm.
This is a fun event for the whole family as everyone is welcome to come! You do not need to have children in the choirs to attend the game.
The more tickets we sell, the more advantages we will get, such as getting a signed Marlies Jersey, a family skate and a first intermission performance. There will be a draw for two children to win a chance to ride on the zamboni!
Choristers should wear their concert dress but please make sure they are wearing a few layers under their choir shirts/vests and pants as it can be quite cold in the Coliseum. Also, the concert dress should be more comfortable than formal especially if you are planning on participating in the family skate. Also, don’t forget your skates as there are no rentals available!
The preferred method of payment is through the Cash Online system. Cash and Cheque will still be accepted and payable to Howard Public School.
