Fall Fete is coming…

Planning is well underway for another fantastic Fall Fete on Saturday, October 14th 10am-2pm.  We can’t wait.  You can expect some of your old Fete favorites like the cake walk and the haunted house but, we are shaking things up a bit this year…

What’s Changing you ask?
This year the Silent Auction will be moving to the Howard Parent Social.   The auction has always been a great fundraiser and we believe it will be even better if held at an adult-only venue where we can get some competitive bidding going, sans enfants!

The Book & Costume sale is being archived this year.  We apologize to all the avid readers out there, but we felt it was time for something new.

The good news is, we will be accepting donations of gently used Children’s books for the Roncy Refugee Relief organization (http://www.roncyrefugeerelief.org/).  A bin will be located outside the office.  Please donate Children’s books only.

The Fall Fete will be more Eco Friendly this year.  We are eliminating all juice boxes and bottled water at the event.  We encourage you to bring your own water bottle to fill at the new bottling filling station, or purchase lemonade from the lemonade stand in our biodegradable cups!

Sign-up Genius will be out shortly, we know everyone is eager to sign-up and help out!
For those of you who hung onto the orange fete t-shirts from last year to compliment your fall wardrobe (we know you love them), we ask that you please return them to the office asap so we can determine our needs for this year.

We are still looking for a 2nd Games Co-ordinator.  If you enjoyed the toilet toss last year this one is for you.   Please contact us at fallfetehoward@gmail.com.

Thank-you from the Fall Fete Co-Chairs,
O
