We are still looking for that special someone or even better, a team of special someone’s to take on and organize next year’s Fall Fete!
The Fete has come to be our biggest fundraiser. Without it, our kids experience at Howard will be much different. The funds raised help us to enrich the curriculum with field trips, clubs, art and technology. But the Fete is not just about fundraising, it is about all of us pitching in for one day, having fun and building community. It would be so sad to see this tradition disappear.
Chairing the Fall Fete may seem like a daunting job but it really is manageable, especially if two or three people take it on. You get all your volunteering done in the first six weeks of school and then you are off the hook! We are even thinking about making a special edition orange “FALL FETE BOSS” t-shirt. Who doesn’t want that??!!
