Hey Parents,
We are now into the first week of our cookie fundraiser. We’re quite amazed that these yummy, locally made cookies are not only school-safe but made with simple, great ingredients as well. We hope your child enjoyed their sample last Friday.
Just to clarify, orders can be placed online through New Moon Kitchen <here> or you can fill out the blue order form sent home with your child and simply make out a cheque to Howard Home and School, no cash please. Please write your child’s area number on the form as it will make organizing the orders much easier from our side.
Remember, the Nutrition Committee will be getting $2 per box towards our initiative to replace the fridge and stove in the main kitchen. If there happens to be a surplus, (we should be so lucky!) funds will be directed to the next item on our wish list…we’re thinking of water bottle fillers at the drinking fountains for all those thirsty kids?? You with us here people?!
In the event that you do not want cookies but would still like to donate to our cause through the Friends of Howard Donation* button marked “ Appliances” on the Howard website, please be assured that excess money will be diverted to further our nutrition agenda (like I said, we have our heart set on super hydrated children!).
So don’t delay, make your purchase today! Stock up on healthy snacks and spruce up your school at the same time!!
