The Eco-Committee is proud of our environmental commitments here at Howard! Your support is appreciated for the following initiatives:
1. WALK TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY
Every Wednesday!
2. AVOID JUICE BOXES
We know kids and parents love juice boxes but those annoying straws cannot be recycled so join us in trying to avoid them completely!!
3. POOP, SCOOP AND TAKE AWAY
There have been several reports of doggy bags left around the school yard and in the recycling bins. We’re asking dog owners to take their bags away from school property.
We’re aiming for Platinum Eco schools status again this year so your continuing support in this endeavour is much appreciated!
