Howard Running Club End-of-Season Celebration
Friday, June 12th, 8:00 a.m., High Park
Running Club practice is cancelled on Tuesday, June 9th due to the Track and Field City Finals, however, all members of The Howard Running Club are invited to attend the end-of-season celebration on Friday, June 12th at 8:00 a.m. in High Park.
This event is a great way for all Running Club members to celebrate a successful season.
All runners and parents, who would like to join us in our last running event, should meet in the Parking Lot of the High Park Zoo, at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, June 12th. We will head over to the covered area beside the Duck Pond. (If you are late, please head over to the covered area.)
The party will begin with races for boys and girls in three categories: grades 1-2, grades 3-4, and grades 5-6, followed by a small closing ceremony. We expect to return to the school by 9-9:15 a.m.
Parent volunteers are needed to help provide drinks (juice, water) and nut-free snacks (fruit, muffins, etc.). As there will be no official supervisors on return to school, we would also appreciate parent volunteers who can accompany students back to Howard after the event.
