Ward 7 Update: Fix Our schools campaign

Dear Howard families,

We have been working with other Ward 7 Reps on a campaign called “Fix Our Schools.”  Our aim is to work alongside Ward 7 Council and all other TDSB Ward Councils to focus on achieving our vision of safe, well-maintained schools in the TDSB…and having public schools be considered an integral part of our public infrastructure – on par with roads, transit, and water.

We have been lobbying the TDSB, the Ministry of Education, and the City of Toronto to work together to achieve this vision.

Fix Our Schools now has a website where parents/guardians can sign up for our mailing list:  www.fixourschools.ca

You can also find out what we’ve done so far:  http://fixourschools.ca/2014/10/29/what-has-fix-our-schools-done-so-far/

We believe there’s power in grassroots parental/guardian advocacy and strength in numbers so please help us build our mailing list by encouraging others in your network to sign up for our mailing list.

By expanding our reach to create a large base of engaged parents/guardians, we can share information more easily and have more influence.

A heartfelt thank you for helping with this campaign,
