It may only be the first week of school, but cross country season has already begun! Our goal for the 2014 cross country running team is to have as many Howard students as possible participating in the meets taking place in early October and we encourage all students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 to join in. It’s a great way to stay active and fit – and it’s a lot of fun too!
Practices for students in Grades 1-2 will take place before school twice a week, while students in Grades 3-6 will practice before school three days a week.
We hope to start practicing as early as next week, so keep an eye out in your children’s knapsacks for further details – they’re coming soon!
We look forward to another successful cross country season at Howard and welcome the participation of all students – all you need is a pair of running shoes and the heart to run. More X-country running information is on the way.
