Howard’s Staff Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for
Monday, June 16, 2013 from 11:45 am – 1:30 pm
in the new kindergarten room (adjacent to the library)
This annual event is organized and hosted by Howard’s school parent community as a way to thank the staff for all they do in educating and supporting our children through the year. Parents provide the food and drink, and staff members have the chance to eat a relaxing lunch with their colleagues – many say it’s their favourite event of the year!
Here’s a general list of the types of items that are needed:
Salads – greens, pasta, vegetables
Main Dishes – including vegetarian items
Drinks – Pop, sparkling water, juices
** Please ensure all items are nut free, as there are staff who have allergies. Vegetarian and vegan items are also be appreciated.**
Please bring all lunch items to the main hallway near the library on the morning of Monday, June 16. Don’t forget to label your plates/bowls/serving pieces with your name. Serving pieces will be available for pickup immediately after the luncheon in the staff room or in the main hallway from 3:30pm. Items not picked up with go to the gym kitchen.
If there are parents who would like to volunteer to help with set up and clean up, please let us know. This help would be warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated!!
