Items Wanted for the Basket Raffle!

One of the hottest draws at our annual Fall Fete is the popular Basket Raffle. Ever see the amazing baskets that we raffle off? They are themed and filled to the brim with goodies that anyone would want!

The empty baskets are in your child’s classroom, waiting to be filled. Looking for some suggestions about what to donate? Here are some previous themes to get your creative juices flowing:

Arts & crafts – toys – games – books – sports related items – things for the BBQ

gourmet food & kitchen items – health & exercise – home office – home spa & beauty items

items for a movie night or a rainy day – items related to gardening – chocolates – candy

coffees – teas or other gourmet/luxury items

Have any of these items new and unopened and kicking around the house? See any interesting items while you’re out shopping? Bring them in and put them in the basket in your child’s classroom by Thursday, October 17. Can’t get to the store? You can drop off a cheque made out to the Howard Home & School Association in the Fall Fete folder in the office (indicate “basket raffle” on your cheque). Our basket coordinators will buy what we need.

Tickets sell for $5 each or 3 for $10. Remember to buy a ticket at the Fall Fete for your chance to win!

There are many ways that you can get involved with the Fall Fete.
